This year I am making some additions to my long-time Death Guard army. Here are some WIP models from the collection.

It’s October, which is sort of the adopted birth month of DFG and at some point, making lots of horror themed or evil conversions became the thing to do this month. Even during the blog’s downtime, I made sure my Octobers were filled with scary models, many of which ended up on the IG account. There’s something about this season that pushes my creativity into darker territory, and I’ve always loved leaning into it.

Plague Marines were some of the first models I ever converted when I got my first Chaos Space Marine Models. I simply couldn't afford the metal plague Marines and I wanted them so bad. I remember I bought the green stuff and started wadding it up for bellies!

This month, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite twisted conversions from past Hell’o’Weens and introducing new projects I’m working on. There are some seriously evil creations in the pipeline, and I’m excited to get them out there.

On top of that, I’ll be featuring a range of 3D artists and their spooky, sinister work from around the web. From chilling conversions to haunted sculpts, it’s all about bringing the darker side of the hobby into the spotlight.

Check out the photo gallery below for a look at some of the models I’m working on right now. There are more that I plan to unleash and I am ready to show off a large project that I started over on the IG account that I want to bring here to finish this month, so stay tuned!
